Peachy pink owl

Hello there! For the first time, I made a card without having any particular person in mind. I just made it because I felt like crafting. I leave tomorrow morning for a business trip, and I should be packing ... but I just wanted to CRAFT!

The Charmed stamp set from Mama Elephant is just precious, isn't it? LOVE.

I am entering my card into two challenges. For Mama Elephant, I am supposed to think clean and simple (which is very hard for me when I make cards).

The current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is to use my favorite technique or product. Mama Elephant is one of my absolute favorite crafty companies, and their stamps with matching dies are one of my favorite products! Also, I used my favorite card stock from My Favorite Things. I just adore their colors.

Smokin' bro

I made this card for my brother's birthday. He will be 43 later this week, but he will tell people he is turning 29. He looks younger than his age, so maybe that's okay. :)

I just love Wink of Stella glitter brush pens. I used gold on the sesame seeds, clear on the fire, and silver on the grill. I wish my photos showed the sparkle.

Happy graduation

My friend's daughter graduated from high school, and I made this card for her. Lauren is not my kid, but this still makes me feel so old because I have known her for ten years or so. Wow!

I tried a new watercoloring technique for my card. I used Distress Ink to paint the peonies through a stencil from Memory Box. Because the ink was more fluid, it did sneak under the stencil here and there. But it just gave it even more of a watercolor look.

This is my second entry into the Pretty Pink Posh watercolor blog hop. :)
