Super 40

This birthday card for my boyfriend is my first ever slider card! It was pretty easy to make with Lawn Fawn's Slide on Over dies. :)

For my card's background, I used Versamark ink, Lawn Fawn's Starry Backdrops stamp set, and Wow! Silver Pearl embossing powder. To finish the pretty sky, I blended three different Distress Inks (Weathered Wood, Blueprint Sketch, and Tumbled Glass).

Adding the tiny hero was the coolest part because of the interactive element of the card. He is flying through the clouds, celebrating the big 4-0!

I love fall

Earlier this year, I started collecting traveler's notebooks from a wonderful small business named Foxy Fix. I finally ordered my dream notebook, perfect size, perfect leather, gold embossing, purple thread, etc. I can't wait to receive it and see how it has turned out. :)

As I wait for my order, I decided to decorate some dashboards with a fall theme. They will just make my notebook more personal, more crafty, and more beautiful! Pictured below is a smaller version of the notebook I'm waiting on. It is the same leather, however, so I was able to make sure the colors I chose for my dashboards worked well with it.

Below are the front outside and inside covers.

And here are the back outside and inside covers.

For the front outside cover, I used patterned paper and dies from Lawn Fawn. I love mixing fonts for sentiments, and the new stitched tree borders are so cute!

For the outside back cover, I had fun coloring the different stitched leaf die cuts. I used different shades of yellow, orange, red, and brown. Fall leaves are so gorgeous! And I think the apples I colored are awesome. I am still working on shading and lighting and can only get better with practice. :)

I'm so excited to get my customized traveler's notebook!

My next Foxy Fix notebook will be my NINTH! But it will be my first customized one, so it is going to be pretty special.
