Dragon birthday

Hello! I made this birthday card for my friend Danielle. She *loves* dragons. She actually prefers "scary" dragons, but none of my favorite stamp companies make scary stamps. :)

I thought it was appropriate to put the dragon in the clouds, and his birthday cupcake may as well float up in the sky, too.

I love Lawn Fawn stamps; I use them on soooo many of my cards. But I don't know if I love their stamps better or all their dies with the stitched detail. So cute!

Speaking of Lawn Fawn, I am entering my card into the following challenge:

Mushroom love

This earthy card is for my boyfriend. Although not obvious at all, it is my Easter card for him. I wanted to keep the card masculine, so I used more traditional colors for the mushrooms. Had this been for one of my sisters or girlfriends, there would have been a lot of pink or purple! :)

I have something to admit. I added the snail to cover up an "oops." Some adhesive leaked through the fence posts, and my inky fingers made it dark and *bleh* when I tried to rub it off. I have actually done this a lot. Some adhesives just don't want to cooperate with me, and I guess I don't clean my fingers enough after stamping. :)

Anyhoo, I am entering my card into the following challenge:

Chocolate bunny

Making a masculine card, especially for Easter, is pretty difficult. But I feel pretty good about what I made today. I love bright spring colors, but I tried to keep this card in the blues to ensure that it wasn't too girly.

I especially love how the Easter sentiment turned out. It is really cool how Lawn Fawn's alphabet stamp sets fit so well together. :)
