Double rainbow

How much fun are these rainbows? I made this valentine for my sister Jamie. She is my double rainbow. I'm not completely certain what that means, but I know she is special, one of a kind, and one of my best friends.

After adding the MFT rainbows, clouds, and sentiment and some of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh (PPP) pink and red sequins, I felt something was missing. I grabbed the cute little bird from the Holiday Pals stamp set from PPP and knew she was the perfect addition! It is fun when you can use a Christmas penguin as a beautiful pink valentine birdie. :)

To finish my card, I added clear Wink of Stella to the top of the bird's head and her little tummy, and I added it to all the clouds. I love the sparkle!

I am super excited to enter my card into Pretty Pink Posh's valentine challenge!

I was inspired by this card by Joni. I used a bird, and the curve of her banners made me think of rainbows. :)

I am also entering my card into my first MFT color challenge. :)

Sweet valentine

I love mixing products from several stamping companies. Each card I make is truly unique. :)

This valentine is for one of my girlfriends. The patterned paper that I used as the background reminds me of yummy candy. Along with the gumball machine, it inspired me to choose the sentiments that I did.

I would love a gumball machine with just pinks and reds. So pretty and fun!

Precious diamonds

I am seriously in love with the diamond dies from MFT. Seriously. They are gorgeous! I wish the photos showed the vellum that I put behind the sparkly silver cuts of the diamonds. It looks really lovely in person.

For the card background, I used Loew Cornell watercolors, which are very inexpensive and easy to use. Love them!

Heart of roses

Hello, hello. I used some Loew Cornell watercolors for the first time to make my mom's valentine. I love them! They are easy to use, nothing fancy, nothing overwhelming. I used a few colors of red and pink with splashes of lavender for my card background.

It is difficult to see in these photos, but I used a woodgrain cardstock for the heart. It looks really cool with the watercoloring. And I used the super beautiful Silver Sparkle cardstock from MFT for the sentiment die cuts. Love!
