Year of the rooster

This birthday card (for a friend who was born in the year of the rooster) was so much fun to make. I used the awesome We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool for the first time! I had heard so many good things that I just had to try it. And the shaker material I used is gorgeous! Pretty Pink Posh has the best sequins and confetti.

I also got some clear Wink of Stella glitter on my hand after adding it to the comb, beak, and tail of the rooster. Soooo, I just spread it all over the card. It left just a faint shimmer that looks really pretty.

Mama Elephant's Lunar Animals stamp set is so adorable. Critter stamps are my favorite.

A cocoa Christmas

I just love how these cards turned out. I knew I had to have the My Favorite Things Hot Cocoa Cup dies as soon as I saw them. They are just adorable!

I made a few cards using different cardstock colors for the mugs and different patterned papers from Lawn Fawn's Snow Day patterned paper.

I can't decide which color combination is my favorite.

I went a little crazy with clear Wink of Stella on the hearts and the whipped cream. I love the added sparkle.

Sharing joy

Hey there! Here it is, December 10, and I have finally started making my Christmas cards! I need to make way, way more, but I am happy that I have something to mail tomorrow. :)

I stamped tiny images from several Lawn Fawn stamp sets in each stitched square that I cut from Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Duo 1 die. So cute!

I used different backgrounds from Lawn Fawn's Let's Bokeh in the Snow patterned paper.

Lawn Fawn's Owen's ABCs stamps are a newer purchase for me. I like how the alphabet is so different from most that I've seen.

I had a lot of fun making these six cards.
