Christmas 2017

I was getting ready to post my Christmas 2018 cards when I realized that I never posted last year's. Since the summer of 2017, I have held back a lot with card-making because I feel like I was in a very long creative block. But I'm sharing these now at least!

I made five cards, one each for my brother, my two sisters, my mom, and my boyfriend.

Carrot storm

This Easter card is for my boyfriend. On the inside, I wrote that I hope he is as happy as a bunny in a carrot storm. :) He asked if I made it because he eats so many carrots. Ha! He seriously does.

Pink Dahlias

The Wplus9 beautiful bouquet stamp sets are so pretty. I used the Dahlia stamp for this Easter card.

I used Tombow markers for the watercoloring and then added a little white pearlescent watercolor from Kuretake to make the image really shine.

Beautiful Bluebird

My first Easter card this year has a beautiful bird stamp from Wplus9 that I watercolored with Kuretake Pearl watercolors. :)

The watercolors are pearlescent and leave a beautiful sheen that can be difficult to photograph.

For my gorgeous momma

This card is for my gorgeous momma. I love pairing pink with copper or rose gold.

It is also fun to make cards that are different shapes. However, you can't stand up a heart card! :)

The beautiful patterned paper is from the January 2017 The Planner Society planner kit. I thought it was perfect for a Valentine. It is so elegant.

It is hard for me to do, but sometimes a simple card is perfect for an occasion.

Pretty flamingo

I recently "joined" The Planner Society by subscribing to their planner, washi, sticker, and box sticker kits. I used some paper from the February 2017 planner kit on this card that I made for my sister. :)

I love the flamingo! She is so pretty. Lawn Fawn comes up with such precious animal stamps.

I often use cardstock from My Favorite Things on my cards, and Cool as a Cucumber is one of my favorite shades ever. It is the prettiest pale green. I wish I had a traveler's notebook in that color!
