You're stuck with me

I can hardly believe that I have been with my boyfriend for five years now! I made him this card to celebrate our anniversary and to remind him that he is stuck with me. :)

And even though this is meant to be a masculine card, of course I am required to add sparkle! It is just who I am as a cardmaker. Make everything sparkle!!

My favorite part of this card is how I colored the pots. It was simple coloring but probably some of the most realistic coloring I've done. :)

Birthday mosaic

This birthday card for my sister took a long time to make but was really fun. I started by embossing a background in gold and then watercoloring each little triangle. I added some vellum, cute balloons, and a simple sentiment to finish.

I wanted to go with a gold and rainbow theme, so I used gold sparkle cardstock as an accent to the watercolor background, and I also used the same gold sparkle for the balloon strings. My sister turned 30, so I wanted to really go for it and tell her she is beautiful. :)

Birthday sprinkles

I think pink and yellow together is such a fun color combo, and the patterned papers in MFT's Dots and Stripes Sorbet collection really work well together. I actually chose the papers before I decided what I was going to stamp.

What goes better with birthdays than ice cream with sprinkles? This stamp set from Newton's Nook has so many cute images.

The Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets were the finishing touch, and I love how they look. :)
