Scaredy cat

I went a little sequin crazy on this Halloween card. I had to cover a couple of adhesive mess-ups and just decided to get wild. :)

The two Meowlloween stamp sets from Mama Elephant are so cute! I really want to buy the coordinating dies. I am not so great at fussy-cutting.

Wow. This cat is seriously scary! :)

Unforgettable

Happy Birthday to my boyfriend! He is eight months younger than I, and we like to joke about my maturity. :)

I adore the Storybook 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh. It gives cards such life. I can't wait to see Storybook 2!

It is fun to think of what to put into the three panels. The elephant and the balloon were easy peasy. For the sky panel, I suppose birds would have made sense, but I wanted to add party hats instead: one for me and one for my boyfriend.

This is my first time using Wplus9 stamps. The elephant was perfect on my first try. I'll be checking them out from now on. :)

Puppies in costume

This Halloween card is for my boyfriend. He happens to be a dog person, and I happen to be a cat person. Soooo ... I *had* to dress up one of the dogs like a cat, of course! For the pirate puppy, I had no choice but to put the pirate hook on his tail, because he wouldn't be able to walk with it on one of his paws! Now, I do realize that these are stamped images, not actual dogs, but I couldn't help but be practical. :)

I used Lawn Fawn's Pumpkin Spice dye ink to add color to the Stitched Label die cut and the Pretty Pink Posh Twine and Bows die cut. The "twine" on the card looks like a cool orange spider web.
